Being able to connect with our sense of self during times of transition,
emotional turmoil, and uncertainty is a challenging process. My work
is focused on helping others negotiate the path towards accepting the
discomfort that arises during these times and increase one's
capacity for self-compassion. I am
especially interested in assisting individuals learn practical tools to
enhance their overall quality of life and to reduce the distress they
are experiencing. My goal is to provide my clients with an
individualized approach that is tailored to their current needs,
strengths, and aspirations.
There are times when we all need a little help sorting through life's
challenges. Psychotherapy offers an opportunity for personal growth and
self discovery that helps to overcome those challenges. Through
empathic listening and supportive feedback, a therapeutic relationship
can provide a warm, safe environment that encourages and fosters the
process of change.
